He has worked professionally in a number of capacities actor/ director/ facilitator and stage-manager. His work has taken him across England including working as a performer for the Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Ben's first project working with Anthos was directing our first Shakespeare production Twelfth Night which toured Whiltshire, Cornwall and Devon. This fun-filled project was the launch of a whole new venture for Anthos Arts and created a collaboration between Anthos and the University of Exeter Drama Department. Since then Ben has forged multiple new links for the company including work with Magic Carpet, Exeter Library and the University of Exeter Department of Medical History.
Since taking over as Artistic Director Ben has worked to launch projects involving Shakespeare in Schools with the support of the University of Exeter. He is also a trained facilitator and is involved with all the Youth Projects.
