Story-Makers Summer 2019-

'Stories from Ancient Greece.'

Our wonderful Story-Makers group is back for it's first ever Summer term! This term we will not be looking at one stories, but at many incredible tales from Ancient Greece mythology. Our Story-Makers will explore such Hercules' battle against the Hydra, Icarus's first flight, Theseus' and his journey through the underground labyrinth and many, many more; featuring many a hero, god and monster along the way.

Each week our story makers will engage in drama, craft and play, learning different ways that a story can be told; including puppetry, physical theatre, mask making and more.

The Story-Makers group runs bi-weekly on Sunday mornings at Family Garden, Exeter from 10am-11am and is £5 or £25 for the full term.

We also arrange for our group to visit the theatre once per term and see a show. This term the group will be seeing 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' at the Exeter Northcott theatre.

Story-Makers is for children age 3-6. To sign up, please download an application form and return to Please contact Jake with any questions regarding the group.

Note: A limited number of spaces is available for the group, to maintain legal staff to child ratios. Sessions will be lead by Jake, who holds a BA in Drama as well as a Childcare Level 3 qualification.
