What is the Anthos Young Company Encore Group? ​

 

The Anthos Young Company Encore Group (or AYCE) is an extension of the Anthos Young Company for ages 11-14, focusing on smaller scale showcases and skills-based learning. The aims of AYCE are much the same as the AYC, but with sessions take place on weekdays in the evening. Participants work as a company to explore a variety of different performance elements, culminating in an end of term showcase for family and friends. The group is the perfect place for young people looking to learn new skills and hone current ones.

Members of AYCE will also have opportunities to be involved in the production team side of the AYC's larger scale shows and Chameleon Group's end of term productions, assisting with the backstage roles. 

 

Each project will not only see AYCE members work as a cast to produce their end of term showcase, but also receive professional performer training. Much like the Anthos Young Company, our training programme covers a variety of acting techniques and fields, from naturalistic to physical theatre, comedy to puppetry and beyond. There are always new skills to learn!
