Home-Ed Drama

Anthos Arts' Home-Ed Drama is a brand-new, weekly group for home educated children ages 9-11. Run at the wonderful Alibi in St Thomas, the group gives children the opportunity to build confidence, make friends, and explore their creativity through drama, while teaching the fundamentals of theatre and performance including acting, improvisation, storytelling, puppetry and physical theatre.

Each term, we will explore a different theme or story, which will culminate in a final performance for family and friends at the last session.

The sessions will focus on:

  • Confidence building

  • Teamwork and communication

  • Imagination and creativity

  • Movement, voice, and character work

  • Puppetry

  • Physical theatre skills

  • Lots of fun drama games and activities

Our Home-Ed group is the perfect place for creative young people who love to perform, or who would like to give it a go for the first time; no experience needed! This is a fantastic opportunity for children to socialise, express themselves, and develop new skills in a supportive and friendly environment.

The group will be launching this June with session on Friday mornings 10:30am-12pm. To find out more information contact us here.
