In light of COVID-19 and the national lockdown, our classes were temporarily called to a halt. In response, we moved online, providing fun Drama based activities for children to help support both them and parents through the months at home. Our 'Drama at Home' project successfully helped provide a creative outlet for those isolating and we were thrilled to see the creations produced by everyone who took part. Now that lockdown in the UK is easing, and our classes are scheduled to return, we wish to continue providing support to those still at home.
All of our 'Drama at Home' activities are completely free to take part in and are available online (see them below). We will continue to provide certificates for anyone who wishes to send us their work. Each of our activities is rooted in Drama, with the additional aim of supporting development of literacy and communication skills, as we would normally do in our sessions. In return for getting involved in our 'Drama at Home' activities children will earn a unique certificate, depending on which activity or challenge they complete.
The primary age range for activities will usually be from 5-12, however we welcome submissions from all ages and will reward participation whoever it is from. If anyone has any questions about our 'Drama at Home' project or activities then please get in touch with Jake.
