The Three Musketeers
France. 1625. D'Artagnan dreams of becoming a Musketeer, the greatest, most noble swordsmen to ever live. With a letter from his father, he sets off across France to follow his dream. Athos, Porthos and Aramis are the best of the best, famous for their honour, noble deeds and above all, camaraderie. Little do these four know that they are about to stumble upon a threat that poses danger not only to the King, but to all of France, and young D'Artagnan may just be the only one who can stop it!
This term marked our seventh project with the Chameleon Group. Once again we wanted to give the group a challenge that would push both them and us. 'The Three Musketeers' gave us the perfect opportunity to do just that. It was an exciting story about a young hero pursuing their dream, overcoming their nemesis and had plenty of comedy and action.
The cast of the show was one of the largest that we have worked with, comprised of performers age 6-11. The group were fantastic to work with- providing new creative ideas and throwing themselves into the tale of D'Artagnan and the musketeers.
